Scholarship Description: The Georgia Tech Alumni Network of NWGA established The Christian Bryant Scholarship as a way to honor the memory of Christian Bryant, a GPS graduate of the class of 2012, who was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of her senior year and died the week after graduation due to rare complications from the treatment. Christian was planning to attend Georgia Tech and major in Environmental Engineering. Scholarship Criteria: The Christian Bryant Scholarship will be awarded each year to a graduating senior from the Northwest Georgia area who 1) has been accepted and plans to attend Georgia Tech and 2) in addition to showing academic leadership, has demonstrated one or more of the following traits that Christian exemplified throughout her illness: Courage Determination Quiet strength Faith Perseverance Kindness Joy
