Purpose:

Our purpose is to recognize worthy, deserving and outstanding individuals who are interested in pursuing a profession in the

field ofAgriculture and Environmental Science, Forest Resources and/or Family and Consumer Sciences.

Awards:

Two scholarships Of$1500.00 will be awarded. Each winner will receive $750.00

for the first year ofcollege and $750.00for the second year of college. Each winner should bring receipt of tuition payment to I/Vhitfield County Farm Bureau office during the quarter/semester in which the payment was made.

Eligibility:

The award will be made to students who are pursuing (as a full time student) a Bachelor of

Science degree in Agriculture and

Environmental Science, Forest Resources or Family and Consumer Sciences.

Family is required to be a member of Whitfield County Farm Bureau. Membership may be obtained prior to application deadline.

Students submitting the hand written application must enroll in a unit of the University system of Georgia or Berry College during the 2015— 2016 academic year and pursue a course ofstudy stated above.

Requirements:

The finalist will be required to have an interview apith the Promotion and Education committee, Winners must also enter college within one yearfrom the time of notification of winning the scholarship.
