Attention Young Georgians:

Create a Public Service Announcement Warning Teens of the Dangers of Underage Drinking and Win a College Scholarship

Underage drinking poses a serious public safety hazard to young people in Georgia. Every year we hear about families who have lost teenagers to alcohol-related accidents. To raise awareness of the dangers of underage drinking and give some deserving young people a helping hand, Millar & Mixon, LLC is sponsoring the first annual Dangers of Underage Drinking Public Service Announcement Scholarship Contest.

Our law firm will award scholarships of $2,000, $1,000 and $500 to 2015 to graduating seniors and rising freshmen in Georgia colleges and universities who create catchy, original video announcements communicating the dangers of underage drinking to your fellow students. The videos should be clever, and not contain images that are graphic or disturbing.

To take part in the scholarship contest, you’ll need to submit a 30-second video public service announcement. We’re looking for fresh ideas to communicate the dangers of underage drinking.

The deadline for submitting entries is April 1, 2015.
